I was up early this morning. As I had coffee on the porch I found some inspiration in a streetlight.

Have a great day.

Independence Day (colloquial: the Fourth of July) is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the Declaration of Independence of the United States on July 4, 1776. The Continental Congress declared that the thirteen American colonies were no longer subject (and subordinate) to the monarch of Britain and were now united, free, and independent states.

I love when the light hits the door’s stained glass just right.

An abandoned discotheque, somewhere in Italy. This interesting club is set inside a faux mediaeval-style castle, complete with a moat (and a sketchy rotten bridge I had to traverse!)

A close-up photograph of a peony flower, with pale lavender-pink outer petals surrounding a dense center of creamy petaloids—petals that are no longer large and round but made small and elongated by crossing. Three large, dark pink stamens are hidden through the pale center. Green leaves are blurred below and behind the flower, against a dark background.
