Thousands of Oystercatchers taking flight.

From RSPB Snettisham's Spring Tide event a few weekends ago. Early start, but so worth seeing thousands and thousands of birds flying over the sea and land.

One of the best things about doing some of the trails around the Peak District is finding places you never knew existed.

One of the worst things about doing some of the trails around the Peak District is that you can rarely afford to spend as much time as you'd like photographing them.

I'd love to head back to this viaduct - the Marple Viaduct on the Peak Forest Canal - with a bit more time (and some more reliable film).
