F1.4 at 85mm means dreamy background blur and low-light magic. This lens delivers both.

:noai:Once the war ends, I would like to help contribute to the reconstruction of Kharkiv. This is one of my favorite images of Ukraine, does it still look the same, or has it been severely damaged/destroyed? (image downscaled slightly, due to Mastodon image file size restriction of 10 MiB, full resolution image: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:%D0%A3%D1%81%D0%BF%D0%B5%D0%BD%D1%81%D1%8C%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B9_%D1%81%D0%BE%D0%B1%D0%BE%D1%80_%D0%B2%D0%B7%D0%B8%D0%BC%D0%BA%D1%83,_%D0%B0%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%BE%D1%84%D0%BE%D1%82%D0%BE.jpg )

Bardzo mi się podoba rewitalizacja centrum Warszawy. Powstał ciąg pieszy jakie pamiętam z Hamburga czy innych miast z zachodu Europy sprzed wielu lat. Wreszcie i u nas.
No to ostatnia fotka z Warszawy w tej serii. Od jutra Japonia;-) Tylko najpierw trzeba dolecieć;-)

Just had to go back to this spot on the Sunderland's River Wear in NE England to see if Mother Nature would put in a better performance than my previous visit.
A couple of evenings ago it looked promising, but the sun disappeared into a low bank of cloud just as it reached level with the bridge.
On the last day of summer, with the equinox just a few hours away, the skies were a lot clearer (maybe a little too clear!).
I would have loved it to have coincided with high tide as the higher reflective surface really makes a difference, but, it was not to be this time around.
Still quite pleased with the final result and so good at long last to finally see the Echo 24 apartment block with its roof repairs finally carried out and the scaffolding removed.
