Mokry asfalt i chodnik odbijają światła latarni, sklepów i reklam.

"Tortell d'Olot"

It is made with made with flour, eggs and sugar is presented braided and with "matafaluga" (anise) which gives it the aniseed taste typical of the "tortell" from the city of Olot, which seems to have a very ancient Jewish influence.

Making small gift for the college kid, photos of our cats in their natural habitats. Tried to get printed at staples, "we don't do that, CVS does." They do? They barely have employees.
I remembered a dusty stack of printer paper from 20+ years ago when I used to do this. How hard could it be? Well, the brother inkjet runs out of colored ink shortly after inserting a new cartridge, but this is all B&W, we'll be fine.

"Yellow ink low!", "Update is ready to install!" Oh ffs.

What I didn't expect was feed mechanism grabbing glossy and regular paper at same time, but it made for an interesting comparison of the "color" of B&W. After the struggles to get it sized, printed, trimmed, and inserted into old garage sale metal frames I think they'll look fine in a dorm room.
#photography #printing #CatsOfMastodon

top sheet is basic printer paper, bottom sheet we can just see the right corner of is Epson Glossy Photo paper from 20 some years ago. The normal paper seems more black and white, the little bit that printed on the edge of glossy page is yellow/green-ish to my eye.

ALT

Two framed prints on wooden kitchen floor with one of the actual cats in the background wolfing down wet food. Photo on left is that cat "helping" change bedding, underneath the top sheet poised to attack. The other photo is our bathtub cat (when bowl of water is in tub) peeking over the edge, waiting for people to disappear so he can drink water in peace.
