A fairytale #footpath on #YnysLlanddwyn for #FootpathFriday

#Anglesey #Meer #sea #IrishSea #IrischeSee #MeerMittwoch #SeaWednesday #Wanderweg #countryWalk #hiking #wandern #hike #Natur #nature #landscape #landscapePhotography #NorthWales #Wales #Cymru

This image features a serene coastal landscape during what appears to be sunset. A gravel path, slightly curved, leads the viewer’s eye towards the horizon. The path is bordered by grassy fields on both sides, with the grass appearing golden and slightly windswept. To the right of the path, rugged, dark rock formations extend towards the sea, creating a striking contrast with the softer landscape. The sea is calm, stretching out to meet the sky, which is filled with clouds that are illuminated by the soft, diffused light of the sun. The overall mood of the image is peaceful and contemplative.

Waldeinsamkeit

#FootpathFriday #Monochrome #LandscapePhotography #Hiking #BlackAndWhite

Black and white photo depicting a narrow dirt path winding its way into a dense forest covered in mist. The trees aren't big but they are quite packed together, with twisted trunks and wavy branches intertwining overhead.

Waldeinsamkeit is a German word that conveys the feeling of being alone in the woods. It was popular during the 19th century German Romanticism.

the recent rains have made the paths very shaggy

#footpathfriday

the pathway leads between big, cheerful looking patches of shrubs and grasses and low bushes in the direction of rolling green hills, under a sky festooned with tumbling, puffy banks of cloud

Edit: this Toot will get edited when new tags are shared.

A vintage-style sepia photograph, presented as if on a film strip with sprocket holes and artificial scratches, captures a concentrated moment. Cynni is crouching on natural, rocky terrain among sparse bushes at Burgers' Zoo, fully focused on framing a picture. They look intently through the viewfinder of a black Nikon Coolpix P500 digital bridge camera, which they hold firmly with both hands. Their expression is one of deep concentration as they peer through the lens. Their left arm, featuring a complex stylized text tattoo, is bent, and a few rings are visible on their fingers gripping the camera body. They wear a dark short-sleeved t-shirt, camouflage cargo pants, and a dark baseball cap with white sunglasses perched on top. A Nikon-branded camera strap hangs around their neck. The background is a natural-looking zoo enclosure with other blurred figures of visitors visible in the far distance. The composition is a candid, close-up shot emphasizing their focus.

A rainy day in Aigüestortes Natural Park. Summer 2023.

#FootpathFriday

#Hiking #Mountains #Pyrenees #BadWeather #LandscapePhotography

A solitary hiker along a footpath across a broad alpine meadow beneath a jagged mountain range. The landscape is wet, it is raining, with golden grasses, scattered granite boulders and a dark green conifer forest in the middle ground. The footpath runs along a narrow stream winding down through the valley. Above it, the rocky peaks emerge from drifting mist and low clouds. The overall character of the image is serene, moody and melancholic, with a muted tonality, the only bright spot is the hiker's orange backpack rain-cover.
