A different view of Da Nang.

From the Marble Mountains, the city becomes a contrast of limestone, rooftops, temples and the distant coast.

The San Francisco Chinese Hospital,

(Details In The #AltText) (Described by Human)

This is a black and white photo in landscape format of the arched doorway into the former San Francisco Chinese Hospital with the remainder of the building demolished around it. Chinatown, San Francisco (2013).

Centred in the photo are the remains of the masonry entrance consisting on the outside of a few metres of vertical white brickwork but only a few bricks wide. Inside of the bricks are a pair of square white pillars with two ornate columns on the front. Within, is the wide arched entrance, perhaps a little less than two metres wide. On top of the archway is a horizontal masonry lintel with 'Chinese Hospital' on the left side, 东华医院 in the centre and 'Erected AD 1924' on the right side. On top is a tangle of bent metal and broken masonry. Visible through the archway is the demolition site of the former hospital with a large pile of rubble and steelwork to the right side. Again, visible through the arch and in the distance is the brick wall of an older urban building with numerous dark rectangular windows. To the right and above the arch are some city high-rise apartment buildings. Above is a clear and cloudless sky, rendered a milky white.

Burg Eltz - a monumental castle in Germany, in the Eifel region, situated in a valley on the small Elztbach River (left-bank tributary of the Mosel river). Situated in a distant & hidden mountain valley - castle stays for 34 generations in private hands of single family (!) It is considered to be the second most picturesque castle in Germany - I hope that 2 frames attached in this post confirm this. #postcardsfromtheworld #tourism #travel #germany #germanytourism #river #water #photography #travelphotography #fuji #fujifilm #captureone

Three teenagers in matching yellow t-shirts and black trousers cross a level railway crossing in Yuasa. A red and yellow stop sign reads とまれ (tomare — stop) in Japanese. Warning signs, a crossing signal, and overhead power lines frame the scene.
