Another set of photos from this early morning stroll in the park where air was very cool and crisp. We love autumn!
Also a couple of photos from the lake before going to the park.

Cat sculpture for Caturday

This exquisite little carving was urchased at a thrift store years ago, artist unknown. Clipped ear denotes neutering as feral and, presumably, a rescue cat.

A bright blue sky fills the upper half of the frame, with a single white cloud floating at eye level over the a green valley and the coastline in the background.

The Old Staircase

📷️ Ricoh GRIIIX

#photography #photo #fotografie #color #ricoh #texture #old

This color photograph captures a fragment of an old wooden structure immersed in overgrowth. The wall is made of dark, almost black boards weathered by time, with reddish streaks and traces of rust, giving the surface an almost painterly texture. On the right, a dilapidated wooden staircase leads into a dark opening; its steps are faded and askew. Faded numbers — "3" and "2" — can be discerned on the wall and the staircase. The foreground is occupied by dense greenery and grass, which almost hide the lower part of the building, symbolizing how nature gradually reclaims its own. The image conveys the atmosphere of abandonment, silence, and the harsh beauty of old things.
