![The image is a black and white sketch portraying four individuals, with strong lines and contrasts indicative of a drawing style. The composition features three women at the forefront and one man behind them to their left side.
From left to right: The first figure appears to be a male character wearing a top hat, holding what seems like a cane or staff adorned with intricate designs near its base; he has a prominent mustache and is looking directly towards the viewer. Next to him stands another female figure donning a wide-brimmed hat, earrings, and a decorated headpiece. She gazes outwards from her position within this group of characters.
The central woman looks into the distance with an intense gaze, wearing what appears as hoop earrings and holding something close to her chin that could be interpreted in various ways due to its unclear shape; she is depicted without significant adornment compared to other figures. The last visible figure on the right seems like a child or young adult facing away from the camera towards more individuals not fully shown within this frame, wearing glasses.
The background features indistinct shapes and objects that give no clear context but add depth to the scene. One notable symbol in the composition is a yin-yang sign held by an ambiguous figure on its right side; it adds a mystical or philosophical element to the artwork. Between Muizenberg and Kalk Bay. Had a job on the movies and used to walk to work just before sunrise. I played an extra as a fisherman on a boat.

Exil.
