Been out for our walk.
This is not a fancy bench, but wow, the view.

#cornwall #coastpath #photography

A seascape of blue ocean, slightly greying cumulus above, and headlands with green vegetation on the cliffs and fields on top stretching off on the right hand side, with the foreground showing a simple weathered and low backless bench nearest the camera, which is angled towards sitting and taking in the view beyond.

Nature morte

#SilentSunday
#bloomscrolling #snow #shadows #monochrome #blackandwhite #photography

Closeup black and white photograph of shadows of an hydrangea flower and rudbeckia flowers on fresh snow. Small spruce needles are in focus on the surface and the sun makes the snow sparkle.

I like the French expression better in this case. It does look like a voluntary arrangement of flowers made up to practice the art of still life. And the nature is indeed dead in this picture.

"The spotted hawk swoops by and accuses me, he complains of my gab and my loitering.

I too am not a bit tamed, I too am untranslatable,
I sound my barbaric yawp over the roofs of the world."

(Plus, bonus photographer reflected in eyeball.)

Descripción en #alttext

#photography #photo #fotografia #blackandwhite #bnwphotography #bnw #monochrome #blancoynegro #streetphotography #architecture #cityscape #seascape #sea

Macro photograph of raindrops of different sizes, trapped in the threads of a spider’s web, some having slipped on the web and formed a film of water on its surface. The background is made of blurred green cedar leaves.

#SilentSunday #sea #sunset #beach #photography

Photograph of a sunset on the edge of a beach, showing a gradient of pastel colors, in shades of orange, yellow, pink and mauve, reflecting on the calm bluish sea. In the foreground, the black silhouette of a man and a woman, close to each other and holding a phone in their hand, taking a selfie in front of the sunset. Rocks with birds are in the water behind them. Further back, the silhouette of an island and in the background, a lighthouse can be seen on the horizon, under some purple clouds.

The Zuiderheide heathlands at sunset. A solitary, leafless birch tree stands in the center-left of the frame. The sky is a clear blue with a warm golden hue near the horizon. The sun is positioned just above the horizon, emitting a bright, radiant light with a pronounced sun star effect.

Photo of some Japanese foods on an outdoor concrete table at a park during noon. From left to right, the foods shown are strawberry-flavored Japanese matcha green tea from matcha LOVE, salmon and tuna nigirizushi, cherry blossom–themed lima bean mochigashi from Fugetsu-Do, and cherry blossom matcha cream–covered biscuit sticks from Pocky. Things are heavy here, but I took a moment to share lunch with some of my beloved's favorite foods and lasting memories. Two years gone, but love never leaves.

Flower no 1

My orchid did me the honour of growing a flowering stem with eight buds this winter. First one finally opened today.

#macro #flowers #bloomscrolling #orchid #photography

Macro photograph of the centre of a white orchid flower, with yellow coloration at the base of the petals and on reproductive parts, and red dots and lines around them.

The intricacies of an orchid flower make it quite difficult for macro photography, as nothing is really flat and you need to be very accurate on the exact spot you want in focus.

Pole overexposure

#monochrome #blackandwhite #noiretblanc #forest #quebec #winter #photography

Black and white photograph of a power line with "T" poles along a rural road, going down through forest and snow fields.

Tough day for photography. Strong wind, snow and sun in teary eyes, I couldn't see what I was doing. I thought those were not that good but on second thought I like them like that.
