La Bresse, December 2025

#photography #darktable #vosges #godrays

Night photograph of a silhouette of 3 persons walking, with one stroller being pushed. The people are illuminated by the headlights of a car that is not visible on the frame, behind the hill. The misty air creates god rays that extend upwards towards the right. On the right side of the frame, a frosty tree is present, and a yield sign is also visible on the right side of the 3 persons. Some condensation coming from them breathing is visible. The photograph is mostly blue and teal with a hint of red due to the yield sign

Rainy day in Hong Kong
#Photography #StreetPhotography #Photographie #Photographie #Darktable #UrbanPhotography #Rain #RainyDay #HongKongPhotography #HongKong

Photograph of a street corner under the rain, in daytime. A deliveryman drives a scooter on the street. Droplets of rain form a myriad of minuscule white spots in the image. Their impacts also form small splashes on the ground. In the foreground, blurry because of the depth-of-field, a woman holding up an umbrella walks away from the camera, under the shade of an unseen streetside building. Behind the scooter and the opposite sidewalk of the street, vehicles are parked on the side of a park which constitutes a green background to the image.

Close Up Architecture

I made a few attempts at architectural shots with the equiv 85mm, not easy and we lean immediately in the abstract category

Romane S01E01

#photography #vernissage #darktable #France #Paris #portrait #Seine #people #woman #Romane #Concorde

I finally managed to find a model! It was weird to go back to portrait and I had to gather my bearings on directing a person. Fortunately, it wasn’t her first rodeo and she already learned a lot on posing :) But we could have done better if I was more directing on the other half of the shots 😅 Check her out! https://www.instagram.com/romane_model_

Horizontal shot. A portrait of a young redhead woman, wearing a green top and we see a bit of brown skirt. She’s leaning on the fence of a bridge, lit by the afternoon sunlight. She’s smiling at the camera. Behind her, we can guess some monument and the Concorde obelisk

The fawns are about five months old now, and usually venture off by themselves. But today they all got together for a family outing.

#nature #wildlife

#manualFocus #blackAndWhiteCamera #90mm
#darktable #silverEfex

Black and white landscape format photo of a deer family in our backyard.

The family of four is 5 meters away. Two adult deer on the left, and two ~5 month old fawns on the right. The adult farthest left is lying down facing toward, and looking directly at the camera with mouth open as if its trying to say something. The adult deer to the right is lying down facing right, and also seems to be mouthing something.

The fawn farthest right is standing facing left with left hind leg raised to scratch its left ear. The fawn to the immediate left is lying down facing the camera at the top of a small landscape berm cutting horizontally across the middle of the photo. It also has it's mouth open as if in mid-speech.

The berm is lined with a living four tree fence spaced evenly apart.

"Cliff Palace" structures at Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado, last week.

#Travel #RoadTrip #Landscape #Desert #Colorado #BlackAndWhite #MonoChrome #Photography #Darktable

A black and white landscape photo of a very large cliff dwelling complex that dates to ~1250CE. The top of the mesa and the canyon below the cliff dwelling is covered in a dense woodland of pinon and juniper trees. The cliff dwelling opening is almond shaped. There are many buildings and towers with lots of windows and doors underneath the cliff overhang.

Vertical shot. On a sand beach, a big opened multicoloured parasol is put on the sand on its side, providing total sheltering from the sun to a woman and probably a children, as we can see a pink beach ball decorated with my little pony character. In the background, the turquoise sea, under a blue sky.

Romane S01E02

#photography #vernissage #darktable #France #Paris #portrait #Seine #people #woman #Romane

Romane sat on the border of the dock, which was quite courageous of her I think, because I was scared that she fall, or that I fall 😆 A bit of flash to fill in here, deported, hand held. That Godox IT32 is really handy!
