After catching a salmon in a river, bears walk to the forest to eat it. They eat the fatty parts of the fish such as the brain, skin and eggs. The rest of the fish feeds birds, insects, invertebrates, and trees.

A black bear comes out of a river with a salmon in its mouth. Water drips from its fur as it walks on a rocky shoreline. Some rocks have barnacles and yellow kelp. The bear heads to the right of the image.

A sunlit autumn forest of slender aspen trees, their golden leaves glowing against darker evergreens and shadowed woodland. Warm light filters through the trunks onto grasses and fallen leaves covering the forest floor.

Deep in the woods, resetting my mind before things get busy 😊

A narrow creek flows through lush green woods, with gentle ripples in the foreground and a thin layer of mist hovering over the calm water farther upstream. Dense vegetation lines both banks beneath a leafy canopy.

Zuid-Mexico, Ed van der Elsken, 1960

http://www.rijksmuseum.nl/en/collection/RP-F-2019-242-1-77

The image is a black and white photograph featuring several individuals in an outdoor setting. The main subject appears to be a man wearing a wide-brimmed hat, likely a sombrero, which suggests that the location could be Mexico or another region with similar cultural attire. He holds what looks like a bundle of long leaves or some sort of natural material close to his chest, possibly indicating agricultural activity or tradition.

In the background and surrounding areas, other people are visible; one person seems to have their hand over their mouth, potentially in surprise or amusement, while another is seen holding something that could be food. The attire of these individuals varies, with some wearing what appears to be traditional clothing as well.

The setting includes trees and foliage, indicating a rural environment, possibly during an outdoor gathering or event. There's no explicit indication of the exact location within Zuid-Mexico mentioned in the reference link; however, the style of dress and items suggest this could be a depiction from that region.

Overall, the image captures a moment of everyday life with cultural undertones, suggesting a sense of community and tradition among its subjects.

The backside of Table Mountain. Ugly. Took pic on the move as this highway is very, very dangerous. From crime and general violence, rocks get thrown at cars etc. The Cape Flats, Coloured Gangs and listed as one of the most dangerous places in the world. Photo is GIMPed
