Greenish Pattern

A photo that doesn't really fit my usual portfolio, but one that I still like somehow. Taken in the foyer of Oslo's modern opera house.

#fotovorschlag 'Muster / Pattern'

2017. Oslo, Norway.

An abstract photograph of a surface composed of various white rhombuses, with individual rhombuses missing at regular intervals, becoming progressively larger toward the top. These missing sections are backlit in various shades of green, ranging from a bright green at the bottom to a more pastel-like green at the top. In the foreground, a light-colored marble floor is visible, in which the light is slightly reflected.

Edit: this Toot will get edited when new tags are shared.

A vintage-style sepia photograph, presented as if on a film strip with sprocket holes and artificial scratches, captures a concentrated moment. Cynni is crouching on natural, rocky terrain among sparse bushes at Burgers' Zoo, fully focused on framing a picture. They look intently through the viewfinder of a black Nikon Coolpix P500 digital bridge camera, which they hold firmly with both hands. Their expression is one of deep concentration as they peer through the lens. Their left arm, featuring a complex stylized text tattoo, is bent, and a few rings are visible on their fingers gripping the camera body. They wear a dark short-sleeved t-shirt, camouflage cargo pants, and a dark baseball cap with white sunglasses perched on top. A Nikon-branded camera strap hangs around their neck. The background is a natural-looking zoo enclosure with other blurred figures of visitors visible in the far distance. The composition is a candid, close-up shot emphasizing their focus.

Slave to the Rhythm

#FensterFreitag #WindowFriday #Selfie #Photography

A dramatic, backlit silhouette of a person framed within an open doorway, mirrored in a kitchen window.

The person viewed is wearing large over-ear headphones. The upper body, neck, and head are completely in shadow, obscuring any facial details or fine textures.

Warm, amber-orange light glows intensely from the room behind the figure, casting a stark contrast between the bright background and the dark foreground framing.

Ombre @foto #fotografia #photography #architecturephotography #patterns #patternphotography #shadow #shadows #shadowphotography #yellow

Hangar Octave

Metis lighthouse. August 2026.

#FensterFreitag #WindowFriday #quebec #photography

Photograph of a simple, rectangular shed on the shore, made of vertical white painted wooden slats, with a black shingle roof and two very small square windows with red frames and closed by red panels. The shed is set on wooden blocks and its condition is beginning to deteriorate. A rosehip with pink flowers grows nearby, just under the windows. Other plants, driftwood and rocks and pebbles surround the building.
